The Global Impact Evaluation Forum 2024, hosted by UNICEF and WFP at the UN, builds on the 2023 WFP forum with a focus on:

• Impact evaluation in fragile settings: Specifically examining how to demonstrate the effectiveness of interventions related to children and gender equality in these challenging environments.
• Addressing climate fragility: Exploring the impact of climate change on vulnerable populations and identifying solutions through rigorous evaluation.
• Collaboration and capacity building: Sharing experiences, showcasing evidence from diverse contexts, and promoting collaboration between researchers and those who use the evidence.

The forum aims to strengthen the use of impact evaluation to improve interventions and ultimately, people's lives in challenging global contexts.
