Biodiversity for food and agriculture is the subset of biodiversity that contributes in one way or another to agriculture and food production. It includes crop, livestock, forest or aquaculture systems, harvested forest and aquatic species and wild species harvested for food and other products.
Based on information provided by 91 countries and 27 international organizations, analysis of global literature and datasets, and contributions from over 175 authors and reviewers, this Report assesses biodiversity for food and agriculture and its management worldwide.
